Massage Studio Brief

A few things I need before I can build your booking site

This covers the scheduling, the therapists, payments, gift cards and how people find you on Google. It is the practical side rather than the design side. These answers decide how the site actually works.

Answer what you know. Anything marked optional can wait, and where you are unsure, write “not sure” and we will work it out on a call.

Your answers save in this browser as you type, so you can close the tab and come back on the same device. Nothing reaches me until you press send at the bottom, and your files go with it.

The business

The basics, so every page says the same thing.

One per line if there is more than one.

Day by day, including days you are closed.

What the site has to do

Tick everything that matters, then tell me which three matter most.

Services and prices

Everything bookable, with the session lengths and what each costs.

One row each. If a service comes in several lengths, put them all in the price box.

Name and price for each.

Your therapists

Clients want to see who they are booking. A rough version now is fine. Photos and full bios can follow.

Booking and scheduling

This decides how the calendar behaves. It is worth being precise here.

If each therapist has their own, list them all.

Usually the number of rooms or tables.

However you say it to clients now.

Taking payment

You mentioned the Square account has expired. Tell me what you would like to do with it.

Gift cards

These sell hardest around the holidays, so they are worth setting up properly.

Including how you check a balance and mark one as used.

Being found on Google

You said this matters most. These answers shape every page on the site, so take your time here.

In order of importance. Neighbourhoods work better than cities.

Write them the way a real person would, not the way a marketer would.

Search your business name on Google and paste the link to your listing.

Look and feel

The site you sent is a useful start. A couple more tells me a great deal.

Any industry. A few words on what you like about each matters more than the links.

Words you already have

Anything already written down saves us both time.

These make the best FAQ page, and they help you rank.

Your files and photos

Everything visual in one go. Send whatever you have, even if it is rough or out of date.

Send me your files

Logo, photos, price list, anything written down. They go with this form when you press send, up to 10 MB in one go.

No files chosen yet.

Or open a shared folder for larger sets of photos

If your files already live somewhere, a share link is easiest. Make sure the link is set so anyone with it can view.

Practical matters

The last few, then you are done.

So nothing gets designed twice.
